Aquatic Legs is a 20-minute water workout that is designed to help you exercise smarter and more efficiently in the pool. Understanding which muscles are being targeted helps you move more purposely. This video was filmed in shallow water, but the moves are very basic and can be performed in deep water with little or no modification.
Knowledge is power. We recently invested in a high-quality boom mic system so that videos can now be filmed while the instructor is in the pool coaching and educating. Most Poolfit videos have been filmed with the instructor in the pool and voiced over after, or with the instructor teaching from deck with a student in the pool. My vision for this filming model is to give it more of a personal trainer feel. Please let us know if you like this style of filming.
Consider combining this 20-minute leg workout with another workout when you want some extra lower body muscle conditioning or cardio. The brisk pace of the exercises is intended to also provide aerobic benefits. Even better, consider adding this video to the NEW playlist feature. I was hoping the playlist feature would be available on the app by the time this video posted. Unfortunately, the latest IOS update (16.1) busted the app and the tech team is busier trying to get everything sorted. The new playlist feature should be available in early December. Just keep in mind, the playlist feature will first only be available on the IOS app. The android app will come later.
What is the playlist feature? On the IOS app, you will notice that the bottom navigation bar now has a tab called Playlist. On that tab you can do two things. You can create a playlist that plays videos one right after the other so that you don’t have to get out of the pool and load a new video or touch your device with wet hands. Also featured on the playlist tab, you can add your favorite videos in a separate area of the tab which will make creating playlists much easier because you are only adding your favorites. Ultimately, the new playlist feature is designed to allow you customize your pool workouts with multiple videos. Watch Mark talk more about Aquatic Legs and the new playlist feature.
We hope you like this new playlist feature. As always, we welcome your feedback.
