Deep Shallow H2O Intensity

Wednesday, October 12 2022

The pool season may be ending for many in the north, but the high intensity workouts will continue to post on Poolfit all fall and winter.  Jenni Lynn and Chris were back in Florida in September and filmed 8 videos.  First up, join Jenni Lynn in Aqua Depth, a challenging water fitness workout that can be performed in either deep or shallow water.

Similar to Jenni Lynn’s other videos, Aqua Depth is simple to follow, but more advanced on the intensity scale. The routine features interval training with a variety of timing ratios for work and recovery.  Designed to showcase the power of the water’s resistance, there is no equipment required other than a flotation belt if exercise in the deep end. In one of the segments, a noodle is recommended to help with form if you are exercising in the shallow end of the pool.

The term dual depth simply means that the workout was designed with moves that could be performed in deep or shallow with no modifications required.  Poolfit is committed to offering as many dual depth workouts as possible as it provides subscribers with convenience and choice.  If you have access to deep and shallow, it is highly recommended that you try this workout in both depths because the exercise experience and results can vary.  Watch Jenni Lynn talk more about dual depth programming.

S’WET creator and founder, Jenni Lynn Patterson LaCour started filming for Fitmotivation Inc in 2015.  A subscriber favorite, this is her sixth time coming to Florida to film.  S’WET, which stands for “structured water exercise training” offers an instructor training program and is known for high intensity workouts that strive to redefine the perception of water exercise.  Whatever you do, just don’t call it water aerobics!  Stay tuned for several more S’WET videos this fall and winter and watch a Behind-the-Scenes video that chronicles Jenni Lynn and Chris’s 2022 filming fun.
