Donna Boucher
Donna Boucher is a Fitness and Wellness Professional specializing in aquatic fitness, land-based training, personal training, and instructor education. She serves as an AEA Training Specialist and Continuing Education Provider and is passionate about helping individuals and fitness professionals create meaningful movement experiences that support lifelong wellness.
With a bachelor’s degree in business from the University of Akron and extensive experience across community wellness, collegiate recreation, personal training, and aquatic programming, Donna combines strategic program development with an energetic and supportive coaching style. She works with populations ranging from middle school students through active aging adults, creating inclusive experiences that build confidence, improve function, and make movement enjoyable.
Donna holds multiple certifications including NAFC Personal Trainer, AEA Aquatic Fitness Professional, NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching (Ohio), AEA Arthritis Foundation Program Leader, AFAA Group Fitness, and American Red Cross Lifeguard certification, as well as S’WET™ and S’WET™ Deep Instructor Certificates. She is currently expanding her expertise through Medical Exercise studies.
Committed to advancing the aquatic fitness profession, Donna contributes through instructor education, conference presentations, and professional writing, including contributions to AKWA magazine. Most recently, she was selected to present two courses at the International Aquatic Fitness & Therapy Conference (IAFTC).
Donna believes fitness is more than exercise, it is an opportunity to create connection, build confidence, and inspire people to move with purpose throughout every stage of life.
